From past experience, having an overall group of staff simply does not work but at the same time having a completely structured staff does not work either. However, it is in our opinion that some structure is needed but instead of having this purely hierarchical, we have tried my best to make it sort of like a balance of power.
The staff will be broken into three groups:
Primary, this branch of staff are the original creators of the website and in a sense are given the most power. They will be the ones that decide, for the most part, whether a new system is implemented or how site issues are resolved. Members of this branch have many responsibilities and are expected to uphold to them.
Primary Staff have…
- the ability to regulate the site as a whole
- the ability to review customs
- the ability to judge sidequests, missions, whatever else it is
- the ability to judge battles
- the ability to implement new systems
Secondary, this branch of staff are “veteran” members of the site and are helpers to the primary branch. This is the branch that is designed to keep activity on the site flowing actively and calmly. In essence, they are the moderators of the forum dedicated to cleaning up small issues, grading sidequests / missions, judge battles and reviewing customs.
Secondary Staff have…
- the ability to moderate, not like the primary branch but more towards should the primary miss a flame or something, they clean it up
- the ability to judge sidequests, missions, whatever else it is
- the ability to judge battles
- the ability to review customs
Tertiary, this branch of staff are “fresh” members of the site that have shown not only a semi-thorough knowledge of the site but an interest to keeping the site alive. This is the branch designed purely to grade sidequests / missions and judge battles.
Tertiary Staff have…

- the ability to judge battles
Terms: All branches of the staff are expected to perform their duties and be active. Anyone that goes on hiatus for more than a month will be considered inactive and have their name grayed out on the staff list. If this hiatus extends past three months, they will be removed from the list until further notice.
Synopsis:
- The primary branch are the only ones that can implement new systems. The reason for this is to prevent having more than one-third of the staff focusing on the improvement / additions to game versus maintaining the actual game.
- The secondary and tertiary branches will be the ones that want to move the site along. The secondary staff will have the ability to vote on new systems whereas the tertiary will be the ones to break a tie.
NOTE: It’s not to say that Primary > Secondary > Tertiary. This is to keep ideas and creations to a bare minimum, meaning only those in the primary branch. As well, there should be 2 staff forums: Primary and Secondary & Tertiary.
