Statistics:
As you gain levels through various types of role-playing, you will receive Stat Points (SP). These points can be used to develop your character’s style of ninja and will be used by judges in battle to help make determinations, such as damage, ability to dodge, etc… If you are a ninja strong in Ninjutsu, you will deal more damage with Ninjutsu techniques for example. Whereas if you have a much higher Speed stat than your opponent, you will have an easier time winning over judges when you dodge or counter maneuvers. While stats do play second fiddle to the overall battle role-play, they do give you, your opponent, and the judge an idea of what your character should be able to realistically do in battle. Each statistic is explained in more detail below.
- Ninjutsu:
- Ninjutsu techniques are based on one’s ability to manipulate their chakra outwards into attacks or to produce a variety of other effects. In Remix, this stat will govern the effectiveness of all Ninjutsu based techniques. Your ability to do damage, accuracy, Ninjutsu defense, and effectiveness of status based techniques will be evaluated by your skill.
- Taijutsu:
- Taijutsu techniques are based on hand to hand training, not requiring hand seals in most cases. In Remix, this stat will govern both basic hand-to-hand combat as well as Taijutsu based techniques. Your ability to do damage, accuracy, and Taijutsu defense will be evaluated against the skill of your opponent.
- Genjutsu:
- The Genjutsu arts are a ninja’s illusion based techniques, used to hypnotize, inflict mental pain, hallucinations, and a variety of other effects. Completed by the use of hand seals, the ninja will extend their chakra into an opponent’s nervous system to disrupt their senses. In Remix, the Genjutsu stat will govern both the effectiveness and ability to cast Genjutsu upon an enemy. The more superior one’s Genjutsu stat, the better the judgments will be in your favor. The same applies to defense.
- Speed:
- While your role-play and strategy mean a great deal, facing an opponent with a much greater speed will certainly be taken into account in whether you can physically dodge and land attacks.
- Weapon Skill:
- Weapons and tools play a crucial role in battle and must be trained just like any other skill. In Remix, your weapon’s skill will determine how effectively you can deal damage and wield such items.
- Luck:
- Luck is an odd stat that has various unknown effects. In close battles where victory can come by a mere hair, luck may be a deciding factor in how things will turn out. In practice, a high luck stat can mean two things. First, a judge may be more inclined to give close calls to a luckier player. Second, upon reaching 0% in the health meter, the luckier player will also receive a dice roll to determine if they can remain in the game. The dice roll goes as follows:
- 1 Die: Defeat
2 Die: 10% of Health is restored.
3 Die: Defeat
4 Die: 20% of Health is restored.
5 Die: 10% of Health is restored.
6 Die: Defeat

Note: You must put a minimum amount of SP in each stat equal to 2 x (current level).

Non-SP Stats:
- Chakra:
- To perform techniques, ninja need to use their chakra, comprised from the body’s energy inherent within its cells and mental/spiritual energy gained from exercise and experience. In Remix, this is equally as necessary in order to use maneuvers in battle. For every move, your chakra stat will deplete until you have either been defeated or have none left. Chakra is a derived stat, meaning you cannot put SP into it. It is calculated by totaling your Ninjutsu, Taijutsu, and Genjutsu stats.
- Health Meter:
- Health does not really qualify as a normal stat since you cannot put SP into it. Instead, everyone will start off with 100% Health in battle. With every battle post, the judge will evaluate how much damage you have taken and adjust the health meter accordingly.
