Rare Pieces

Once per month, the staff will release a piece of rare equipment, an item, or weapon that only one-person on the site can wield. These pieces include special abilities beyond what would be approved with normal customs. Each has a special requirement, and generally, the first to fulfill that requirement will obtain the piece. You are only allowed to obtain 1 rare piece at a time. If you wish to pursue another rare piece, you must hand down your previous rare item or put it back onto the market by notifying staff. Once a rare piece has been obtained, it will be officially updated and unavailable to anyone else. Rare pieces can also be taken away with prolonged periods of inactivity. Once a rare piece is obtained, it will be updated here by staff with the owner’s name under the piece.

  • Genin Rares

    • Sound Wave Amplifier
      Type: Primary Weapon
      Range: Ranged
      Rank Required: Genin
      Chakra: 20 (similar in power to D Rank jutsu)
      This was originally made by the Shinobi of the Sound Village. A Sound Wave Amplifier is a weapon that releases sound waves and then amplifies them in order to disorientate of their opponent and in some cases, severely hurt them. Chakra is used to move the waves directly into the inner ear of one’s opponent. By disrupting the inner ear in this manner, the target loses their sense of balance and will likely vomit. There are rare occasions when sound misses, but Because the body is 70% water, it conducts the sound just as well. This allows the sound waves to still reach the inner ear no matter what.

    • Air Vents
      Type: Primary Weapon
      Range: Short Ranged
      Rank Required: Genin
      Chakra: 20 (similar in power to D rank jutsu)
      This was originally made by the Shinobi of the Sound Village. This type of weapon is an implant and the process of obtaining air vents is quite painful, but some Shinobi who are impermeable to pain find it an easy task. Regardless, it is worth it since Air Vents are very powerful weapons. When used in conjunction with various Jutsu techniques, Air Vent can control supersonic waves and air pressure throughout the user’s body and the arena around them. This allows them to release massive gusts of air at their opponent.

  • Chuunin Rare
    • Mateki
      Type: Primary Weapon
      Range: Lond Ranged
      Rank Required: Chuunin
      Chakra: None (must be used with jutsu)
      The Mateki is a Flute made out of strong silver. They are not an ordinary type of weapon and many members of a Shinobi Village would not consider them a weapon at all. But rest assured, the silver head and body possess the unique ability to manipulate the Chakra that the user has and use it to benefit the user in various ways. Entirely handmade, the flute has holes that can be open or closed that have various functions, not only to create beautiful music, but to defeat the user’s opponent. There are even some cases where a Shinobi wielding the Mateki has been to defeat their opponent without even touching them.

  • Jounin Rare
  • S-Class Rare
    • Twin Lightning Swords
      Type: Primary Weapon
      Range: Close-Medium Range
      Rank Required: S-Class
      Special: Increases the effectiveness of all Raiton jutsu.
      Chakra: 20
      The twin lightnings swords primary function is to enhance the effectiveness of lightning based attacks. The user can charge the swords with electricity and filter lightning jutsu through them with ease. The swords used to belong to the former Mist shinobi Kurosuki Raiga.
      Requirement: First to quest for it. Must travel to the Village of Mist.

      Kusanagi
      Type: Primary Weapon
      Range: Close-Medium Range
      Rank Required: S-Class
      Special: Increases the user’s chakra by 10%.
      Chakra: 20
      The Kusanagi is a sword of legend. Two version exist, one wielded by Uchiha Sasuke and the other, the former weapon of Orochimaru. It is said that the Kusanagi sword will transform in response to the chakra of whomever wields it, becoming one with the user. In a sense, the sword becomes like an appendage of the user, more than a separate weapon. In turn, the weapon yields some of its own mysterious power to the user.
      Requirement: First to quest for it.

      Samehada
      Type: Primary Weapon
      Range: Close-Medium Range
      Rank Required: S-Class
      Special: With every successful strike, the Samehada can absorb 3-10% of the opponent’s chakra and feed it to the user (similar to a D rank) if the user wills it. The chakra absorption aspect can only be used once per turn.
      Chakra: 20 (40 w/ special)
      The Samehada currently belongs to the missing former Akatsuku member, Kisame. Similar in shape to a normal head cleaving sword, it includes several shark like fins that can rip and shred an opponent. Further, the weapon has the unique ability to absorb the chakra of those it comes in contact with and feed it back to the user. During the final battle between the Akatsuki and the opposing forces, Kisame was separated from his sword by Team Hebi ninja Suigetsu. Kisame disappeared without his sword. It’s whereabouts are currently unknown, though it rumored to be in Suigetsu’s possession.
      Requirement: First to quest for it. Must confront Suigetsu.

  • Legendary Rare
    • Kongou-Nyo
      Type: Primary Weapon
      Range: Medium Ranged
      Rank Required: Legendary
      Special: When Enma transforms into this weapon, the user will lose the extra action they normally receive when they summon. However, the weapon will retain its own health percentage and can be used to block and absorb damage from attacks with rather high success until that health is depleted.
      Chakra: 42
      The Kongou-Nyo is a weaponized form of the Monkey King Summon Enma. Anyone who can summon Enma has the ability to use this weapon. In this form, the staff becomes as strong as diamonds and can only be damaged by the most powerful of weapons. Further, Enma can use partial transformations while in this form, extending parts of his body out to grapple a foe or opponent. Further, Enma can be utilized to create one of the strongest known defense jutsu.
      Requirement: Anyone who can summon Enma, Monkey Contract, can use this weapon.

      Raijin Sword
      Type: Primary Weapon
      Range: Close Ranged
      Rank Required: Legendary
      Special: Can dispel energy based attacks to judge discretion for the cost of only 42 chakra. However, the sword will be disabled for the rest of the battle if it attempts to dispel an A rank attack or above.
      Chakra: 42
      The Raijin Sword originally belonged to the Second Hokage before being stolen by the Rain Ninja Aoi. During battle, the sword was apparently damaged and destroyed by a combined Chidori and Rasengan effort. However, the sword was later recovered by a team of Leaf Ninja and eventually repaired. It has stayed in safe keeping inside the Kage vault, waiting. As for the specifics of the sword, it contains no blade, touting an energy blade instead that can retract at the will of the user. The blade has limited cutting power, instead shocking anyone that comes in contact with it. Further, the blade has been known to absorb the energy within many ninjutsu based attacks that require the overt presence of chakra (chidori, rasengan, lightning based jutsu, etc.), dispelling them.
      Requirement: First to quest for it. Must travel to the Village of Konoha.
